A Message from Becky Merriner ’01
SU Alumni Association President

Dear Alumni, Faculty, Staff and Friends,

What comes to your mind when you think of summer?  For me…it is fireworks, flip flops, picnics, ice cream, vacation, road trips and Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre.

Just like many of you, on July Fourth, I had the pleasure of watching the fireworks display locally and thinking about all of the men, women and families who have served our country.  Our veterans have sacrificed so that we can have all of the opportunities that we do here in the United States.

Successful Alumna Profile: Nicole Slater (P ’12)

From the moment Nicole Slater (P ’12) stepped on Shenandoah’s campus and met her admissions counselor, she knew SU was the perfect place for her. She loved the campus, the people, the close-knit family feeling and the opportunity to be a pre-admitted pharmacy student.

Slater was a Shenandoah student for a total of eight years and during that time, she completed undergraduate coursework, received her Pharm.D. and completed a PGY-1 residency followed by an Ambulatory Care/Academic Fellowship.

Celebrating our Veterans

We, at Shenandoah, appreciate all our service men and women and are proud to count them among the ranks of Shenandoah alumni. This November, we will be launching a Shenandoah veterans page on the alumni website to recognize all of our veterans past and present. If you are a veteran please help us by filling out the SU Veterans form.  Thank you to all who serve.
